Service: How does the "Purchase an Item" service work?
PURCHASE AN ITEM:
. To get started select the "Purchase an Item" service and fill out the required information we need to purchase your item.
. Add the service to your shopping cart.
. Complete the checkout process.
. After checkout we will determine the total cost of the item(s) you want us to purchase including shipping and send you an invoice via email.
. Upon receiving payment we will purchase the item(s) on your behalf and have them shipped to ForwardIt.
. After the item(s) arrive at ForwardIt we carefully check and repack them. If you have multiple packages we combine them to save you money on shipping costs.
. We then invoice you for the cost of packing and shipping the item(s) to you.
. Upon receiving payment, we forward the shipment(s) on to your address.

Service: Is there a signup, membership, or monthly fee involved?
Absolutely not! We charge a nominal fee for the service itself to cover our costs, materials, and time. Then our
shipping fees are based on every package we send you, NOT how many packages we receive. You will not find
a more cost-effective package forwarding service than ForwardIt!
Service: Can I buy merchandise from eBay?
Absolutely! ForwardIt got it's start on eBay! Just specify our shipping address during the vendor's checkout
process. Be sure to include the Order Number with the shipping address. See our services for more information.
Payment: Do ForwardIt customers pay separately for packaging costs?
No, our packaging costs are included in the service purchase fee, so you just pay the service purchase fee and the
actual price for postage.
Payment: How do ForwardIt customers pay the service and shipping charges?
ForwardIt accepts all major credit cards include VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and more. We
also accept, actually prefer, PayPal because they handle even more credit cards plus existing Paypal accounts.
Payment: Do you store credit card information with a customer's account?
No, for your privacy and security we do not store credit card information with your customer account.
Shipping: How can I calculate the shipping rates?
We charge the post office price for postage with no additional handling fee. Please visit www.usps.com to calculate
these rates, as they are dependent upon destination and package weight. We also have discounts with FedEx for faster,
more reliable service.
Shipping: How often or when do you send my item(s) once you recieve them?
That is entirely up to you. We can either ship your items to you one at a time, or store them up and combine them
to save you money on shipping costs. Please indicate your preference by adding a comment to your order.
Shipping: How does combining or consolidating my item(s) actually work?
Once ForwardIt receive all of your items we open and carefully check them to make sure nothing was broken or damaged
during shipment. If an item(s) is damaged we will notify you via email. Then we repack your items into a single
package, or as few packages as possible. Once they are packed and ready to go we weigh them and send you an
invoice for our cost, plus packing materials, plus shipping via the method that you selected on the order.
Shipping: Do the ForwardIt shipping rates include customs fees, tariffs, or taxes?
ForwardIt shipping rates are for door-to-door delivery. There may be additional import fees or duty for merchandise
shipments coming into your country. These fees vary by country and they are NOT included. Please contact your local
customs office for more information on duties or import fees.
Shipping: Do you ship hazardous materials or illegal merchandise?
NO! Check with your shipping carrier to determine what is, and is not, considered to be hazardous or illegal but in
general the following items are not permissable, or may cause problems during a customs review of your shipment:
- Combustible or flammable items (paints, oils, lighters)
- Any type of pressurized can (hair spray, shaving cream, spray cans of any type)
- Hazardous materials (matches, chemicals, explosives)
- Weapons of any kind (guns, stun guns, hand weapons, etc.)
- Seeds, coffee, foods
- Animals and products made with animal skin (including furs)
